GoAskSam for ChatGPT and Claude

Add GoAskSam to ChatGPT or Claude and ask what a collector car actually sold for at auction, the full history of one car by its VIN, and where cars like it have sold, each answer built from real recorded sales.

GoAskSam connects as an app (an MCP connector) so the assistant can pull collector-car auction answers straight into the conversation. It is read only, needs no sign-in, and every answer carries its link back to GoAskSam so you can see the record behind it.

What you can ask

What cars like this have sold for Give a car in plain words, for example a manual 997 Carrera S coupe or an E39 M5, and get the hammer sold range, how many sales it is built from, the period, and the closest recorded sale with its link.
The history of one specific car Give a VIN or a listing link and get every auction appearance for that exact car: the date, the auction house, the miles, sold or not sold, the hammer price or the high bid, and whether it carried a reserve.
Where a car has sold Give a car and see which auction platforms cars like it have sold on, ranked by recorded sales, with the median hammer on each.

Add it

  1. In ChatGPT or Claude, open the connectors or apps settings and choose to add a custom connector.
  2. Enter the GoAskSam server URL: https://goasksam.com/api/mcp
  3. Save. Then ask the assistant a collector-car question and let it call GoAskSam.
